What’s a moment in your life that felt like it was straight out of a movie?
Going under. Seeing literal monster machines far under the surface and being there with my classmates on a several day trip to Kiruna. It was in 2006, 20 twenty years ago almost exactly because it was summer season time right as we were leaving 7th grade. We watched films there.. literally there was a film playing in one of the rooms there, far under ground level. I remember me gathering those small round iron ore pellets to have as suvenir for memories to stay sharp.
Btw the whole trip itself was truly magical, we had a lot of silly teenage fun in this average size (to us) town. And they are actually relocating the buildings so nothing gets broken by the underground mine changing the surface dynamics.
