I’m almost completely of European origins, mainly Nordic/Scandinavian/Sámi/Finnish and some Western European plus slight Balkan trace.

My paternal grandmother on the new updated ethnicity estimate has a small percetage Irish as well as Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Danish. I also know she likely has a small amount of Saami origins based on several reasons.
My maternal grandmother is significantly Finnish/Kven/Saami ethnicity and this is well documented by traditional genealogy research.
I’ve also very recently used the new reports from MyHeritage to go further back in time, from Bronze Age to the Middle Ages. I’m working on fully understanding the information before writing a lot about this currently.

My other new estimates from MyHeritage:
73,8% or 77,4% Norwegian
16,0% or 17,4% Finnish
4,4% or 7,2% Swedish
1,6% or 2,2% Danish
(The Saami indigenous peoples are included at least within Finnish group but likely/possibly Norwegian and Swedish as well?)
10/2025 updated ethnicity estimates from 23andMe; 67,7% Norwegian, 21% Finnish, 5,7% Swedish, 3,6% Danish, 0,8% Dutch and Northern German, 0,3% Belgian, Rhinelander and Southern Dutch, 0,4% English, 0,3% Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin & Serbian and 0,2% Southern Indian Subgroup. And it makes some sense looking at my genealogy.
